How this spread works
To use the Yes or No Oracle, start with one question that has a clear yes or no answer. Keep it about your own life and your own choices. Take a slow breath, hold the question in mind, and draw your card. Try not to ask the same question again right away, since the first card is often the most honest mirror.
Upright cards with bright, open images, like the Sun or the Star, often lean toward yes. Reversed cards, or cards that show loss and struggle, like the Ten of Swords, tend to lean toward no. Some cards sit in between and point to a maybe, which can mean the answer is still taking shape or depends on what you choose next.
The answer is only a starting point. Notice how you feel when you see it. Relief may show you what you were hoping for, and a small sinking feeling can tell you just as much. Read the card’s full meaning too, because the picture often explains why the answer leans the way it does.
The positions

I
Your card. Your card answers the one question you hold in mind. It asks where things lean right now: toward yes, toward no, or toward a maybe that is still open. Look at the image as well, since it can show what sits behind the answer.
Why this spread
I made the Yes or No Oracle as simple as a spread can be: one question, one card, one answer. That small shape suits moments when a longer reading would feel like too much. It gives you a clear lean, yes, no, or maybe, and the picture on the card adds a reason you can think about, so the answer is never just a word.
